A bright and generally dry day with sunny spells and just the odd light shower about, especially in the west and northwest. Cloud will thicken near western Atlantic coasts later in the evening, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle following towards nightfall. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, coolest in the northwest, with a light westerly breeze, backing southerly through the day and freshening in the west in the evening.

Becoming wet and breezy as rain spreads from the west through the night, although towards the southeast it may stay dry until morning. The rain will be very heavy and persistent at times, especially in the west and north. Southwesterly winds will increase moderate to fresh and gusty, stronger near coasts. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees.

Amárach

Continuing wet and breezy in the morning. While the rain will clear southwards through the morning, it may linger in the south for much of the day. Further north, drier conditions will develop with scattered showers and possibly some brighter spells following the clearance of the rain. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds easing with the clearance of the rain.
